Perinatal • Perimenopause • Menopause • And Beyond
Transitions Perinatal Therapy and Beyond was created to honour the profound psychological and emotional thresholds women cross—not only when becoming mothers, but when shedding identities, reclaiming vitality, and stepping into new phases of self.
When a woman moves through a major life transition, it is not only her circumstances that change—her identity, body, emotions, and inner world shift as well.
A Practice Rooted in Sacred Women’s Life Transitions
In my private practice, Transitions Perinatal Therapy and Beyond, I offer psychotherapy grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), also referred to as Parts Work, to support women through the profound psychological and emotional changes that accompany motherhood, midlife, and evolving womanhood.
From pregnancy and postpartum, to perimenopause and menopause, women repeatedly cross inner thresholds. These transitions can bring uncertainty, grief, anxiety, exhaustion, and identity shifts—but they can also open the door to renewal, clarity, and deeper self-connection.
I offer a space where all parts of you are welcome— grief, fear, anger, anxiety, depression, exhaustion, confusion, resentment—and where joy is allowed to return naturally, in its own timing.
“And Beyond”
The phrase “and Beyond” reflects my belief that healing and growth do not belong to one life stage, such as the perinatal period. Women continue to evolve across the lifespan—releasing old identities, integrating new ones, and rediscovering themselves again and again. This practice honours the long arc of womanhood, offering support not only through specific transitions but in cultivating resilience, self-connection, and joy over time.
I believe that life transitions are not problems to be fixed, but invitations to be met with care, curiosity, and compassion.
You do not need to be in crisis to seek therapy. Sometimes the desire for support is simply a sign that something new is trying to emerge.
